Best beaches in Ibiza Town
Although the municipalities of Sant Antoni de Portmany and Santa Eulalia have numerous beaches of outstanding beauty, in Ibiza Town there are some of the island’s best known beaches including: Playa d en Bossa, Playa de ses Figueretes and Playa de ses Salines.
Playa d en Bossa, one of the best beaches in Ibiza
Situated between the Ibiza and Sant Josep de Sa Talaia municipalities, Playa d en Bossa beach is the longest on the island at 2.7 kilometres. Shallow water and white sand make this beach an exceptional place to enjoy some unforgettable holidays.
Playa de ses Figueretes
Figueretes is a small beach at around 100 metres in length and 50 metres in width, and close to the Playa d’en Bossa beach and the centre of Ibiza Town. The beach is evenly distributed and separated by breakwaters.
Playa Talamanca, excellent for swimmers
Playa Talamanca is just 2km away from Ibiza Town in the small resort of Talamanca, and is notable for its fine sand and clear water. 900 metres in length and 25 metres wide, Playa de Talamanca is a long sandy curve with calm and shallow waters that are great for swimming.
Playa de ses Salines (las Salinas), in the heart of nature
Situated in the extreme southern tip of the island, in the Natural Park of Ses Salines, Playa de ses Salinas or Las Salinas is considered, next to Playa d en Bossa, as one of the best beaches in Ibiza. Extending to 1.5 kilometres in length, this beach has fine, golden sand and crystal blue waters. An area of outstanding natural beauty surrounds the whole beach.
